Those of us who love,care and want to protect our communities from the foreign industrial energy giants should all rally for Matt Doheny because we know for certain that Bill Owens IS PROWIND and can't even be bothered to meet with us or get himself educated about the lies that big wind spread. Industrial wind will not help solve our energy crisis. It will not provide local jobs that we need. Industrial wind does not make good or safe neighbors. And industrial wind will not save our local schools because parents who love their children will move away from here if industrial wind comes to our communities and our local schools will close from lack of students.
Matt Doheny gets my vote and everyone should contribute to his campaign fund. I contributed to the Republicans to get rid of Darrel Aubertine and it felt great to kick out a prowind conflicted unethical senator. Let's do it again folks. If you want to clean our government up- donate to the people who are willing to meet with us and are willing to get educated about industrial wind.
I ran into Matt Doheny last year at a local restaurant and he was very nice and listened to my concerns. I have also repeatedly tried to contact Bill Owens with my concerns and I only get a "canned" response letter that did not answer my questions and clearly showed that he is not educated with the facts about industrial wind. I was told by his man in his Watertown office that Bill Owens is way too busy to make any time to meet personally with me at anytime. I bet he has time to meet with the wind devffelopers.
Do we make our checks out to Matt Doheny or to Matt Doheny For Congress? He has my vote! Do I send my check to 215 Washington St. Suite #006, Watertown, NY 13601? Thanks to this BLOG for all the info that you supply to keeping us informed about what is happening to the North Country that we all love!
Bill Owens lost my vote when he did a campaign ad standing in front of a wind turbine when he knew damn well that wind is nothing more than welfare, spits communities and destroys land values. Kiss a lot of votes goodbye.
Of course candidates want votes. But this Democrat thanks Matt for the courage to come into a town which has been torn apart as a result of upper level public servants who refuse to acknowledge the damage that government subsidized wind farms do to communities.
Bill Owens manages to stay safe in Plattsburg and Washington as far away from the people he represents as he can.
