Former town board member Marty Mason foils the foiler.

Today on Pandora's Box of Rocks, you can read about a call the author made to Robert Freeman, Executive Director of the State of New York Department of State, Committee on Open Government.

The Freedom Information Act (FOIA) is a federal freedom of information law that allows for the full or partial disclosure of previously un-released information and documents controlled by all levels of  government in the United States.

In the upcoming months the Town of Cape Vincent will embark on the audit and investigation of the Town's water district #2 and possibly others.

As with past town financial audits and understanding of what goes on with our town government, there will be people in the town who would prefer that what goes on with the do-it-yourself water districts be kept secret from the rest of the community.

Why would the Town hire 4Th Coast to do an audit when BC+A have been the Town's Engineers from the
1990s and have set up all of the water districts in the town. Maybe a call to them would result in the answers they are looking for.(FOR NOTHING???)

    Because they are independent.

The same thinking was used when the corrupt members of the past town government suggested that TR knew what he was doing, so why not let him check the books instead of hiring an independent auditor.

Then, they refused to pay for the audit.

Besides, part of the deal is to find out where all the new waterlines are going and who might be selling water and collecting money.

BC + A, as the town engineers would be conflicted with a proper type of investigation.

The state comptroller should become involved in this one. These guys think Aubertine is going to protect them.

    Be real...

If there weren't some fishy stuff there would not even be a reason for any action at all.

Hey guys. There are people at 4th Coast that got their start at B and C. They formed their own business. That is not the issue here. The issue is what has been going on in District 2. Remember that.

Water district 2 seems to be a money making deal for some people in town, while other pay the freight.

Was town equipment used to put it in? Who's selling the water? How long have they been selling it?

Are they paying taxes on their water sales?

Remember Marty's famous line- "We wouldn't have a water line in Cape Vincent right now if we went by that(referring to Cuomo's ethics law)."

Not to worry anon above. Darrell Aubertine had made it clear to Marty, Don, Mickey and Richie Edsall that it was their duty to be unethical. Self servitude came first with those bums.
